Yesterday: TEETH SURGERY!!!!

Can you believe it? I got 4 teeth pulled yesterday, and I still feel under the weather. (A.K.A nausea, weakness in my limbs, teeth sore-I'm a total mess!)

What Happened:

My mom and I went to Hahnemman Campus, and we walked into the day surgery room, when, in almost only 5 minutes, they called me and my mom into the surgery area. I changed into the typical hospital outfit-Johnny, golden-brown hospital socks, and a hat that was made out of the kind of material that a Bounce Sheet is made out of. (A Bounce Sheet is a sheet that you put into your drier when drying your clothes.) It was quite the fashion statement! Then, my doctor (Oral Surgeon) Dr. Manthos waltzed in and my surgery took off-literally! One of the nurses wheeled the hospital bed out of the tiny area, and then the nurse brought me into the surgery area. I don't really feel like going into details (it's not neccesary) but they gave me an oxygen mask, and told me to count down from 100. I made it to 96, and then I was knocked out.

Pretty soon, I went into the recovery area, and they let me sleep a while before getting my mom. I slept, but when I woke up, I was totally weak in my legs. Two things that bother me: 1.) I had novacane, which made my lips feel like there was a hippopotomus on them. 2.) I was still sleepy and out of it, which was really annoying-in more than one way! One of the nurses wheeled me out to the lobby where she held me captive (just kidding!) until my mom's car appeared at the front of the entrance to the hospital. And all I could eat for the rest of the day was popsicles and ice cream. But I survived. Barely!
