My feet hurt terribly

Wow, I am soooo dumb! Today, I went shopping with my mother, and apparently, I am not  aware of how long she goes out for when she shops. It was torture! (It wasn't that bad, but I do not want to give her a chance to boast. Not that she would-she's waaaaaay too nice to do it, but still, you get my point.) I was so stupid that I actually wore snow boots! Man, my feet hurt! They're okay now, but they were definitely sore. Anyway, enough of my complaining. The point? Never ever go shopping with your mother if you want to come home.
