Okay, so I know that "High Fashion" is, in other words, very pricey clothing. But, to me, it doesn't make much sense. I mean, fashion shows are great and all, but, when it all comes down to it, would you really wear it?
I mean, seriously, the Elizabethan Era collars, high-heeled boots made entirely of fur, and feathers galore! Can you really get any more dramatic?
So the other day, I was watching America's Next Top Model, and one of the girls on it, Leslie, was put into the most ridiculous costume ever. I'm pretty sure the contest this time around was related to Mardi Gras-something, that, while you can go as wild and crazy as you can possibly afford, shouldn't be too wild and crazy.
Poor thing! She looked like she was suffocating in that ensemble. I can't imagine how she was able to breathe in that monstrosity, let alone walk in it. And, even though I'm really great at walking in high-heels, how the heck did she do it?! I mean, that was amazing, but, on top of it, she actually won that specific contest! If I were her mother, you can bet I'd be darn...Well, not proud, exactly, but jealous!

I just don't understand you, Mother Nature
Okay, MN, I want to know-what's up with winter this year? It's been the suckiest winter ever! I mean, I've only had one snow day, and, granted, I love my school, but honestly, winter is for being cozy, and for snuggling up under blankets in front of the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate. And yet, I got none of that this year!
Now, of course, it's spring, and so I don't get much room to complain, seeing as the season's past.
But you know, I guess I should be thankful, seeing as I was able to wear a ton of my summer clothes this winter. Weird, huh? Wearing clothes that belong to winter's latter season. So honestly, MN, I thank you for that.
