Asperger's Syndrome. What does that mean to you?
Look...I'm not going to get all soppy on you...that would be bad...but sometimes I just wish that I didn't have it. It's one thing to feel different, and it's another to be different.
Life is different with a learning disorder. I get through each and every day, of course, but some days are much worse than others.

Shopping is for lunatics
Just in case you're reading this, mom, I want you to know that I don't exactly mean you.
Anyway, the whole point is: why waste all your money when the things you really want are right in front of you and don't cost anything? This I just do not understand in the least.

Jet Lag
How much hatred I feel for airplanes cannot even be expressed. I have absolutely no idea how to. Who likes airplane rides, anyway? At least we were flying on Southwest Airlines-apparently they're the best airline available-all your bags get shipped free! (Exciting for my parents, not exactly me!) Oh yeah: They're the second most comfortable airline after Jet Blue.
FUN FACT! Apparently, on a flight out to Arizona (where we were on vacation), one of the airplanes had a scorpion on board! I really think that would be quite terrifying-I, for one, absolutely hate them-but I am at least quite relieved that I was not on board. (But I can't really see the fun in the phrase "fun fact." There is nothing I can see that is fun about it.)
Anyway, at least this flight was 4 hours, not the agonizing 5 1/2 that our flight to Arizona was! After about half an hour, I was so bored that I seriously wanted a parachute that could take me there instead of the airplane.
Since Arizona time is 3 hours behind Massachusetts, there was some serious tiredness involved.
And don't even get me started on the bathrooms! Oh, yuck, yuck, yuck! If Southwest Airlines are supposedly the best airlines-including the bathrooms, apparently-and American Airlines are the worst, then I don't even want to think about what the American airplanes' bathrooms are like! (Shudder!)
When our plane landed, our luggage was collected, and we catched the shuttle bus, I wanted to scream. But, afterwards, I figured I would be too tired to even be able to use the last of my energy for my voice box.
That's okay, though, because I plan on a lot of beauty sleep!

"Out of Africa" Safari Tour
Hello, Bloggers! How are you doing? I hope you've been having the time of your life of whatever you're doing now, because I had the best time EVER yesterday at the "Out of Africa" Safari Tour. The place we were in featured all types of wild animals-prairie dogs, ring-tailed lemurs, brown bears, Bengal tigers, white wolves, ostriches, African goats, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, oh my!!!! It was so cool-I've never even seen an ostrich, let alone a picture of it!
Our tour guide, Miles, was so hilarious, I felt like I had a stitch in my side! (A good one, of course!) My mother signed our family up for the best tour-the safari bus that had open windows so that animals on the safari could come up to the windows and you could feed them!
You have to understand that my sister Sam's one main dream in life was to be kissed by a giraffe. And so she did- 3 TIMES! The trick to doing it is sticking the treat in your mouth so that an animal will kiss you when they grab the treat. By the way, did you know that giraffes have blue tongues? Cool, huh?
Miles showed us to the Ring-Tailed Lemur's cage. They were so adorable you can't even believe it! The mother lemur carried a 3 month year old baby lemur and let me just tell you that it had to be the most adorable thing you could ever see. It just clung to her, dangling as if afraid it would fall off were it to let go.
Miles then took us to the ostrich's cage-boy was that funny! Miles told us that she absolutely loves to nibble on things, and whenever Miles tried to pet her, she nibbled on his fingers instead!
Meanwhile, the zebra's we had seen a while back were STILL following us!
I loved that tour, and I will always remember it-IT WAS SO COOL!

Life is great
Arizona is amazing! And I can't believe I literally am leaving here in one day! It totally sucks-what is there to look forward to when I get back to Holden? I mean, sure, I'm taking art lessons and stuff, but besides that, what can possibly measure up to Arizona?
Quiz: Will anything be as great as Arizona when Katie comes home?
Circle one: YES NO
But I have absolutely NO regrets whatsoever about this trip. It has been so amazing that even I can't explain it! I like to think that it is a breakthrough from where I used to be with my family.
I love Arizona and I always will...forever.
